Found Universal Law Group on a google search and so glad that I did. Had a frivolous lawsuit filed against my business and had no experience whatsoever going through the process. Anissah and hear team were patient and walked me through everything step by step and even responded to my emails on the weekends. Sometimes resumes and accolades don't count for anything but I can see why Anissah is rated as a Super Lawyer. I highly recommend the lawyers at ULG for any legal needs you may have.

Avoid at all costs. I made the bad decision of choosing this firm to help me in a civil litigation case. Unprofessional, incompetent & greedy. Billing errors, lacking attention to details & common communication courtesy’s. Simple arithmetic, such as subtracting an invoice from the retainer fee, couldn’t be completed properly. Also, they had their own address spelled wrong on an invoice, inexcusable and not the high priced attorney you want fighting an opposing competent attorney. Had numerous apologies from Anissah for various reasons. One of my favorites, replacing one of the lawyers on the team and not informing me for 4 months, until I received bills with 3 new names on the invoice. When I originally hired Brian and spoke to him on the phone he then forwarded me on to Anissah. Anissah then contacted me and introduced me to Randall, who would be helping out. Later, after receiving bills from Faustine I saw a new name, Sheree added. After a few more months (Randall was gone, again no communication or courtesy to explain) & I have to email about a bill for charges from Jeremy, Michelle, & Francisco, all of who are too busy to communicate with me but ready to be paid. No introduction or explanation of the new names or qualifications of these people to warrant $350/hour vs that of a $15/hour secretary. I’ve been charged for services by Anissah, Randall, Sheree, Michelle, Jeremy, Francisco, Meiosha, & Law clerk, one of whom actually worked on the case. If you like wasting money, please donate to a charity before being surprised with monthly bills. I’ve had to hire another lawyer & start a case with the TX Better Business Bureau & State Bar of TX.

I wish I could give more stars! I was hit with a non-compete lawsuit and had no earthly idea where to begin! That’s when I met Brian with Universal Law Group at the beginning of everything and he truly made me feel like I made the right decision. Shortly after I was working with Anissah and Jeremy. Both in my opinion are honorable people who will fight for you in every way possible. The rapport I had with both was great and they always made me feel like they were working for me. I did call multiple other firms at the beginning and they all seemed like they didn’t even want to take on my case. ULG was hungry and more than willing to work for me and by my side on my case. Please do your homework on these guys as I highly recommend to anyone! Pricing will always be a driving force and everyone’s experience will be different but as someone else said, you get what you pay for with these guys! Thank you ULG, Brian, Anissah, Jeremy and I can’t forget MeiOsha. Again I highly recommend this team for any legal need you may have or come across.

Was charged with a bogus criminal case and called alot of other firms and attorneys. Went with ULG because Brian was a former prosecutor and had a friend who hired them years ago and got his case dismissed as well. The fees were not super cheap but you get what you pay for and if you want results this is the place to go.
