I usually am not one to review anything, as people sometimes have bad days. In regards to this situation, it is of serious nature, especially when someone who represents the state and the Superior court is at fault. A woman in Target in the Sacramento area was not wearing a face mask and instead of explaining herself or educating this woman on why she felt she should wear a face mask, Katie Briscoe got angry, refused to leave, flung sanitizer at the woman, waited outside in the parking lot for this woman, threw something at her car, and then slammed on the brakes in front of the woman causing the woman to rear end her car. As someone who ALSO works in the Superior courthouse in my area, I am disgusted at Katie's actions as not only a human being, but an attorney who defends others in regards to harassment and discrimination in employment law. How could you possibly litigate a case of harassment and fight for one's rights when you YOURSELF have no respect? She needs to be suspended and reprimanded and will be very discouraged if her law firm does not take action. She has given them a bad name and continues to represent this law firm in a negative manner. As long as Katie Briscoe is working there, I will never recommend this law firm. Do the right thing Orrick!!!!
