Parmenter Law Office

I worked with the new owners by default, as the original owner, Dennis Parmenter, died in December. I loved Dennis. He was awesome to work with. The new owner was quick to tell me, "we charge less than Dennis." He saw fit to slander a man who can't defend himself and who is beloved in the community. Then, the quote he gave me was over $100 less than what he charged me. These are not trustworthy people.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I met with Matthew there and seemed nice, although seemed very shy and quiet. Then he didn't say a word once Dennis barged into the room and took over. My son's dad had passed away and I was simply there for a "free consultation" for his estate and getting conservatorship over it. After being pushed for something I didn't want, I walked out crying and completely sobbing at the way I was talked to. This was back in like December 2015, maybe January 2016, can't recall exactly what month. Now come, August 2016, I get a bill for $96 for that consultation and meeting with Dennis. I never asked for him to barge in and take over and my appointment was not with him. I don't appreciate it nor am I obligated to continue with a lawyer should I choose not to after my "free consultation." I will not be paying this bill and I never signed a contract or a single piece of paper. What a joke trying to take advantage of people during a loss in their life. Steer clear!

Matthew Hohenstein helped me with my legal matters. He did so in a timely and knowledgeable manner. He was straight forward and honest about how things would work and he did what he states he would do. I appreciate the the help and will reccomend him to others.
