Represented a family member of mine as opposition in a family court case and was not only unprofessional but made decisions and gave legal counsel that was detrimental to our family but mostly to my nephew, a child. She brought tactics into the courtroom that were in direct contradiction to what family law’s goal is, which is to put the child first. I found her to be unsuitable but seeing as she was working pro-bono, her lack of professionalism and clear disregard for the child’s best interest, lined up. Not only would I not recommend using her as your attorney, I also hope you never have to deal with her as representation for opposition. Was, and still is, genuinely a drawn out and horrific experience.

Suzanne Remington was the "Mediator Attorney" in a segment of my family law legal case. I found her completely unsuitable for that role. Rather than strictly and impartially stating facts Suzanne riddled the entire procedure with her personal biased opinions. She also demonstrated unwarranted verbal aggression toward me at one point. Perhaps she forgot I was paying for her time and services ! During the " mediation" Suzanne displayed overt dismissiveness toward my personal attorney and his very pertinent interjections. Suzanne didn't appear to understand that during mediation sessions both information accumulation as well as misunderstanding clarifications are part of the goal. Mediation is a joint meeting between opposing clients and their legal counsel. NO mediator bias is to be uttered at any stage of the proceedings. And mediation IS THE TIME outside of a court room to air thoughts plus concerns in order to reach a JOINT understanding and consensus. In great part to Suzanne's lack of mediator skills no consensus was reached. Patience is the attribute most necessary during these types of proceedings. Unfortunately Suzanne personified IMPATIENCE from the initial arrival greeting through closure. Of course the result of this mediation session was a complete waste of time, money, effort and preparation for all parties involved verses being a useful legal tool to help settle plus resolve misunderstandings and disagreements outside of the court room.

Worst Law office in the area. Very poor communication. This Law firm is just a useless money grabbing law firm with no real reliability. Did the bare minimum as far as work and charged an arm and leg for services. Do your self a favor and find a better place to help you out..
