Riggs Abney was very responsive and shared the consequences of my son's moving violation. We also were able to speak with one of their shareholder attorneys - Greg Taschdjian - who was fantastic! DO NOT EVER deal with Jill Chase!!! I was referred to her for a business question through Legal Shield and she was the rudest person I have ever spoke to in a professional setting, yelled at me and was extremely condescending. I was asking her if there was a way for an attorney to draft a legal agreement between me and another person, her answer was that it was the other parties legal issue, I asked her to clarify on if there any ways around it to take care of the issue on my end & that's when she became condescending, I told her that I am not aware of this situation legally which is why I am asking her and I didn't appreciate her being rude about my questions, I then continued to ask her more questions around it and she completely started YELLING at me to the point where I hung up. I would NEVER recommend speaking to her because she will tear you down and try to make you feel dumb for seeking legal advice.

It’s good just for small case like dispute a charge, but when you have questions or claim for something bigger they would be refuse to handle it or even give you an advice due to ethical rules. After reviewing other people experience I surprised. as a member at least should give you some advice or telling you the proper way how can going forward with a case! A big NO is making people disappointed and make them to leave the membership.

ZERO STARS WOULD BE TOO MANY! WOW! Where do I begin. I like the concept of Legal Shield and there are other options available, BUT Riggs Abney Law Firm, specifically Jill Chase is not a good representative of the legal industry, IMO. She was assigned to prepare our "FREE" wills and while most of it was done, hopefully, correctly, she caused a huge delay in one part we needed to change that, conveniently, we could not change any longer without paying for another attorney at a 25% discount. This change was started in July, a medical issue came up in mid-August, and by Sept. 5, this became too late to change per our original instructions. She doesn't listen, was rude and disrespectful to my fiancé and ignored constant requests to make the change needed until it was too late. She refused to honor the Engagement Agreement allowing for both of us to speak in the presence of each other regarding the will preparation and changes. She also refused to listen to the fact that I signed a durable POA, which she prepared, and could speak on behalf of my fiancé when he wasn't able to. When I complained to Legal Shield Corp in Oklahoma City, I got referred to a supervising attorney, Sharon Hamm, who was of zero help and of course, backed her staff. Due to this situation, we will now PAY another law office to review the work of Jill Chase to make sure our Will and POA's are correct. 2nd issue-We needed to look into hiring an attorney to represent my fiancé in a motion to terminate spousal support. The attorney who contacted us asked for a $15,000 retainer. THAT is at a 25% discount. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? We refused and were able to retain an attorney for $2000. BUYER BEWARE! This is the only Legal Shield law office in Colorado. These are OUR experiences and opinions of this Law Firm and specific attorneys. Hope yours is much better. Believe the reviews!
