I can't begin to adequately express my appreciation and respect for the professionalism and legal skills of Victoria Ryals. My previous attorney took a job as a U.S. Immigration attorney prior to my 30 August 2022 trial regarding a grandparent visitation suit. For that reason, I had to hire another attorney to represent me. Mrs. Ryals agreed to represent me on July 20, 2022 for the case; therefore, I turned over my case file to her on that date. She had a month and 10 days to familiarize herself with the case. She contacted the Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) court appointed to the case to apprise herself of the GAL's report and recommendations, and memorized the facts of the case including the depositions of my son, his wife and myself. During the 41 days she had to prepare for the case, she was able to memorize the facts and present them instantaneously during the trial to confront my son and his wife whenever they misrepresented the facts of the case. She was adept at quoting the Mississippi laws applicable to the case. It has been approximately 2 1/2 months since the trial and have been able to visit with my grandchildren twice on the second weekends of September and October 2022. I don't believe I could have hired a more competent, knowledgeable or skilled trial attorney. I will forever be in her debt for reuniting my grandchildren and me.
