I retained Attorney Harvey Sackett to represent me in navigating the SSDI process. Mr. Sackett represented me today in my Court Hearing and he did an absolutely amazing job! The Administrative Law Judge that was assigned to my case was changed prior to the hearing without notification. The new Judge who presided over Hearing has a history of denying the majority of the cases assigned to him and it seemed clear he wasn’t really interested in having all of the facts. Mr. Sackett provided me outstanding legal advice prior to my hearing and then he provided extremely professional, sound and competent legal representation during my hearing today. Mr. Sackett made sure I was heard! He cited case law and regulations when he felt that the process was being unfairly biased against me and he refused to allow ridiculous information provided by the Vocational Expert without a sound rebuttal. I’m not sure how the Judge will rule but I was a police officer for 16 years and have dealt with many attorneys in my lifetime and Mr. Sackett could not have done a better job. His legal aids Alicia and Maria are amazing too! I highly recommend Sackett and Associates for any legal assistance regarding Social Security.

So far so good. I feel i am in good hands, been a long process thus far and hoping we are over halfway there.... SSDI is tough, makes no sense that they want to deny everyone when i paid into this all my life and now that i need it the government says i dont qualify even tho all my doctors say I do . My experience with Harvey was excellent. Due to the fact that this firm specializes in Social Security / Disability cases. There are some negative reviews on here, but they need to be taken with a grain of salt. Most people don’t understand how long or how much work it takes before you can actually get a hearing. It is very important to listen and read all of the paperwork regarding your case so you can understand what is really going with your case. If you don’t have a disability or have anything that the government would classify as a disability then you may be disappointed in the outcome. There are lots of factors that need to be considered, when attempting to get Social Security or Disability Benefits. You need to have Patience for sure. But you also need a good lawyer. Harvey and Maria worked with my Dads case and did there best. They are hard working and willing to bat for you. Please understand that if they don’t call you or if they haven’t contacted you, don’t worry. The court take a long time to finalize paperwork. Key point, if you haven’t heard anything from the Government, Neither has Harvey. If your willing and patience enough to get Social Security or Disability, really look at who is going to represent you in court. It took almost 2 years of waiting and getting all the right paperwork, but only 10 minutes in court room to get a favorable decision. - Results May vary based on your personal situation.
