Reviews

Paige was assigned as my attorney on a case. My case was dragged out for two years just to go to trial and have all the charges reduced I feel as the victim totally victimized and don’t feel justice is being served. I would not recommended any of these people from this office they are all bias and work together for there own profit. They drag their feet and do not put in any effort for justice. They are weak and watered down representatives of the law…. do better
Excellent services for crime victims. Their office has good communication with the investigators, attorneys, and victim advocates. The degree of expertise and thoroughness of the investigations are outstanding, and I am quite satisfied.
I am the victim of domestic violence. The incident occurred March of 2018. The case had finally went to trial June 2019. The trial kept getting put out further because my aggressor picked up a new charge for driving under the influence. I was informed both his charges would be heard before the judge when my case went to trial. After going through three different district attorneys, I met the one that would take the case to trial literally the day before it did. We discussed the emails, pictures, and text messages that the previous DA and I had exchanged in regard to evidence. Most of which he informed me would be shared with the jury. The day trial began I went in to testify against my aggressor. Soon I found, in fact, none of the evidence would be shared not even text messages from my aggressor admitting to the assault or pictures of my injuries taken my CSI in the hospital. In fact, he did admit to hitting me during the trial but in self defense he says. I lived in fear for over a year. No restraining order was even put in place on my behalf following the assault. I requested one on three separate occasions within that year of waiting for trial. The day following my testimony I received a call from the DA I had just met days prior informing me the verdict was “not guilty.” My aggressor got away with assault and still lives in my home city. I’ve never been through anything so horrific in my life. It’s really unfortunate how ill prepared and inexperienced the legal team was for such a severe crime. I refused to have sexual relations with a man that I had known for over 9 years. And because of it, I was assaulted. But, I’ll continue to tell my story for all of those that are no longer with us to tell theirs.
2015 my wife and I out to see a show. My wife a special ed school teacher for the Elk Grove school district. Me (@ the time) my 12th year asva Sr Software Eng working in Redwood City. While attending a show at Arco arena two extremely intoxicated people attacked me from behind. Resulting in shattered my face, jaw, loss if multi teeth leading to $1000s in reconstructive surgeries Now its 2021 and hopefully my last court hearing last month. During the process of all this I am pretty sure EVERY one of my Victims rights were violated by Sac DAs office. Fact is at a Restitution hearing (remember I am the victim) which I was to attend the DA told Sac Sheriff to NOT allow me in. Well come to find out yes a conviction was done .. for only one of my attackers and he ended up being charged w/ basically "Disturbing the Peace". The piece that made the difference I hope your asking yourself now is that one of my attackers was(actually still is) California Dept of Corrections. Thats right "Law Enfircement" of sorts .. well least the courtesy if the title. So DA sherry schubert you are not worthy of a fraction of a star
One star seems awfully high for an office who protects murderers walking in our community. No judge nor jury would execute based on vandalism, yet this office backs up this decision of scared individuals who are so cowardly they shouldn’t be allowed to wear a badge. Absolutely disgusting and immoral.
