Having never dealt with a lawyer before, i was intimidated. Lance Gordon and his secretary, Colleen, were absolutely beyond my expectations. Expensive but top notch. Always in top of things, which is what you want in a divorce attorney. Lance Gordon was personable and patient, explaining everything clearly. Do not sign a contract or pay a retainer, though, if you are hesitant about the price. After my consultation, I was led into a conference room and presented with the contract which required me to put down a $5000 non refundable retainer. I was caught off guard and went ahead and signed and put down the $5000, rather than going home and thinking about it. Mine is a routine divorce and I’m already over the $5000. As I said, Atty Gordon and his paraprofessional have been excellent and very responsive, but you may want to shop around for a lower priced firm.

Attorney Lance Gordon was fantastic guiding me through a difficult and stressful custody dispute. He is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and was able to get the custody agreement that keeps my kids safe. Colleen is also great!
