Yes, this was something that was horrible and never would wish it upon any one but thankfully with these 3 by my side, I was awarded a settlement that helps out with medical bills and without them I would have only been awarded the bare minimum of $25,000. Melissa Winthers was my attorney back in 2013. I was in a real bad car accident in 2009 that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, neck, back, spine, shoulder problems and two artificial hips. I AM VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS LAW FIRM. She never fought for me she only went after the traumatic brain injury she sent me to a specialist that charged me $13,765 to diagnose the TBI. When my primary doctor questioned her on why she didn't go after all my other injuries and look at the other Drs evaluations she didn't have a comment. I guess it was too much work and the Brain Injury was an easy sell. This Law Firm is only out for themselves, they took 35% of what I was awarded which wasn't much. As for right now February 20th, 2020 I have just been diagnosed with nerve pain if the therapist cannot help with the pain and the issues I will then be forced to have back surgery. I'm only 57. Whose going to pay for this I am responsible for 20% of everything. The money that I did receive doesn't even come close to what I still owe. WHAT ABOUT MY FUTURE CARE I'M LEFT WITH A LOT OF PROBLEMS. THIS LAW FIRM WAS JUST LOOKING OUT FOR THERE BOTTOM LINE AND NOT CARING ABOUT THERE VICTIM , ME. I've been on disability since 2010 food stamps, leap and when leap is all gone I go to the Salvation Army and Volunteers of America for help. My heat is set at 50°. I could go on and on but it's not in my best interest mentally or physically. As I write this letter for the third time, because it keeps disappearing, I can only hope that I will be able to help one person out there to choose a different Law Firm. We are all victims and The Lawyers are just looking out for themselves. My 2nd letter was better. But I can't sweat the small stuff don't know how to retrieve my draft.
