I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing service I received with this firm. Phil was so kind and patient with me. He fully listened to my needs to make sure I was provided the proper attorney. He also took the time to follow up with a check-in to make sure I was satisfied with my appointment. I also want to make note that attorney Joshua MacNamara provided equal service with top notch legal expertise. Everyone was so kind and professional, I highly recommend Shipman & Wright.

Absolutely do not use this law firm. I paid 5k up front for an uncontested divorce and custody for one child.The lawyer took my money and left the firm and didn't handle eather. I now have a bill for 9k the firm says that I never paid them anything, but the contract they wrote clearly says I had to pay up front before services were rendered. I have the original receipt and contract, that are signed and dated. The firm will not do anything about it. Completely robbed me and screwed me. Highly recommend NOT to use this law firm.

0/5 stars. We had a very poor experience with Shipman & Wright. Do not recommend. A very straight forward contract case to recoup owed funds that stopped being paid due to death in family. Had all documentation that had to be filed right away due to statute of limitations. The team came back with a different case filing type that extended our time to file. When we requested status on filing…the lawyer told us they see risk moving forward based on original filing period?! Unbelievable. We delayed filing based on their expertise then they walked back their stance. Left us hung to dry with zero option to recoup and occurred added expenses dealing with this law firm. Then they continued to bill us for unapproved hours afterwards. Keep in mind we had our family lawyer who was out of state advising them the whole time. All they had to do is listen to his 50+ years of experience and file on our behalf.

I really don't mind writing up a review when it is well deserved. So many times we are asked to rate our experiences without hardly any interaction with the company. We have been working with Shipman and Wright for several months now and it has been a true pleasure. Kim Smith has kept us up to date on everything and has been a delightful person to communicate with. She has helped us keep things moving along and provided updates consistently. Gary Shipman has also been a pleasure to work with and I am confident he will provide the leadership to resolve our situation. I honestly feel like we are in great hands. Sincerely, Tom Craigg

Excellent , pleasant caring service. I had to redo my wills after my wife passed and the excellent service and knowledge supplied by the lawyers and Kim the paralegal helped me to return to work after accomplishing needed documents. I have used this firm before to support my work. I want to thank Kim for working so hard and efficiently to provide me with needed services in a timely manner.
