Though I'm not done doing business with this firm, I can say that so far the service I've received has been great. I spoke to Crystal O. about an outstanding debt that had been sold to them. She was very professional and we were able to set up a payment plan that was based on current financial circumstances. I was VERY scared to call them concerning said debt because of the reviews here but for me at least, it was relatively painless (minus having debt in the first place) and I feel relieved to know I won't have to really think about paying off my debt whereas before it was a constant stressor. I know exactly how much I'll be paying and when, and they offer very flexible payment options (change your due date, check by phone, etc.) At least currently, I'm not feeling scammed by anyone other than the employee who gave 17 year old me a credit card all those years ago.

I was served for a debit that I owe. No disputing that at all. I called because honestly I was shocked to have been servered. Apparently, over the course of a year it went to two different companies and then to this company. Through that time the companies had tried to contact me via mail and phone. Which, I did not receive. I can see why for the phone calls. My number changed and they all had my old one but my address has a mail forward. So am not sure why I never received any notice to stop it from getting to this point. However, that is not my reason for posting this review.. when I called to make arrangements and get this taken care of and enter into a written agreement they refused because I can not afford 160 a month right now. I can barely afford rent right now and they claim we should have after a rough estimate over a 1000 left over a month. We don't. I told her that we could do 40 a month right now and then beginning of the year we would be able to pay half of remaining balance and then February the final half. They still refused. It's basically pay what they say or they can't help you. 160 may not seem like a lot.to some but to us right now it means not eating or not having heat. She keep repeating how sorry she was and that they wanted to work with us but just not for the amount we can afford.

Paid on my debt for 2 years, missed some payments because my wife got sick and had to quite her job. No notice, no phone calls, no court papers no nothing and they garnished my bank account drained every last penny, then turned around and hit me with wage garnishment... Now my account manager and the lawyer on the case will not return my phone calls. They are heartless and completely unwilling to work with you. Had to borrow money to pay my rent and now I don't know what I am going to do to pay my bills. Completely screwed me, because of companies like this people go homeless and they could care less all they want is their money.

I was making payments for about a year and apparently they changed vendors who is responsible for their payments. My account was one of the MANY that didn't carry over when they switched. This resulted in my automatic payments not going through and them placing a hold on my bank account leaving me with zero money for about a week. I had to call more than once a day to see what was going on with this and never got an answer until they blamed it on the company who processes their payments....and now they're trying to make me responsible for legal fees associated with this issues. seriously? Do yourself a favor if you are ever contacted from them about money pay it right away so there isn't a chance of anything similar happening to you. Also if you do business with them, shame on you because they are a bunch of crooks who do not know how to run a legitimate business.

Staff does not provide correct information consistently, they do not follow through with information regarding your account to be mailed such as payment history, or agreements made. This is the first debt collection company I've ever dealt with and the absolute worst debt collection I've ever dealt. Prayers to anyone that has to deal with these people.
