The closing process is not same as it used to be. As the seller in this transaction, Heritage Title did not service me with any exceptional customer service. Rather, there is this new expectation that the title companies control the closing process. In the end, it’s because of me selling a property they exist in the first place. Candy initially told me we would close on a certain date and I arranged my life to accommodate. In reality, the property closed 4 days past the date first given. Additionally, Candy and Heritage Title allowed the final pay off from Woodmen Hills Metro District fall through the cracks. I personally had to call and push the final payoff amount to Heritage Title. No wonder why the property closed so late. I am paying a fee to close with Heritage Title and the value I received did not match what I paid. I was also never updated or informed on developing information. I always had to call or email to find answers. When Candy and Heritage Title did communicate with me, they always seemed irritated. When the property closed at 3pm, Candy decided to wait to wire my seller proceeds the following day when it was convenient for her. Remember, this is my money Heritage Title is dealing with. I received no interest from Heritage Title holding my funds. Regardless if the Federal Reserve ends wires at 2pm MST, it should have been Heritage Titles good faith to wire the funds the day of closing. Hopefully this helps future individuals decide on a credible Title company or skip them all together and close with attorneys.

Candy made the signing process easy as pie. Would highly recommend and if I didn't just buy my forever home, I'd use again!

Maureen Williams was absolutely outstanding with my closing. She called a few days before closing to let me know everything was on schedule and wanted to know if I had any questions. I really appreciated her being very knowledgeable about all of the paperwork and was willing to explain any questions I had without hesitation. It was a pleasure working with her and I would recommend her very highly.

Maureen Williams was our closing official. She was very pleasant and funny. She helped us earlier than closing to get a document signed that we didn't know we needed and still kept our closing on time. Thanks again for making a difficult process easy.

Maureen Williams is the best! To make a long story short, we began the refinance process in February 2022, believing we would be refinanced and closed in 6-8 weeks. Because of a third-party bank (wrongly) claiming they had to give permission for us to close, our closing was held up for 4 months. In the meantime, rates began rapidly climbing and we were about to lose our locked rate for a much higher rate. Then along came Maureen. She worked super hard to make sure we would close before the deadline, and even met us for closing at a sports bar while we watched the Avs in the playoffs! Above and beyond. Next time you need a title company, and an A++ closer, be sure to call Maureen Williams!
