In November of 2022 my social security deposit went in for $1,800. I woke up to get my 8-year-old daughter ready for school and check My bank account and noticed my account was empty and there was electronic transfer in progress. I immediately called the bank and online bank at that and they told me there was nothing they can do until the transfer went through. I waited 3 days until the transfer went through but while waiting my mortgage was due. My utilities were due. My child's school fees were due. I was going in debt very quickly.
