Avoid this law firm and save yourself the headache! Damian received his payment from the district and has not reimbursed us, our retainer fee. I have called and emailed him many times, to no avail. I am beyond disappointed with him, knowing what a difficult process it is having a child with a disability. You would think, out of anyone he would want to keep his clients/families happy. I am bombarded with therapy appointments, raising 3 kids, running a household, and starting a business. He can surely send an email, let alone mail a check!

I'm currently having issues regarding my child and the supports he isn't receiving. I gave Damian a call and he reassured me the plans to move forward in my child's upcoming IEP. The weight we have as parents with a child with different needs is hard. Learning the terminology, going to workshops, and going into your child's IEP. Only to deny of the supports requested. When speaking with Damian I felt for once someone understood what my child needs. I felt a sense of relief. I highly recommend if your child isn't receiving the supports, please speak with Damian. Thank you Damian and we are excited to be working with you.

Back in March 2018, I retained Damian to represent my daughter. While at the IEP's, he performed well and brought up great points. However, after those meetings, he became mostly unavailable to assist me in dealing with the school. At the end of the school year (June 2018), the school was attempting to stop transportation services, and I had to respond to their email on my own. I've emailed him with questions and concerns, but he doesn't respond. I've scheduled phone call appointments, and he hasn't called me. After multiple promises for a due process draft, he never produced one, and I had to terminate him in January 2019. I wouldn't recommend this law firm.

I have two children with Autsim. I contacted the Special Education Law Firm, attorney Damian Fragoso was assigned to both their cases. Mr. Fragoso delivered outstanding work. He made himself available to speak on the phone, email, and in person when necessary. He provided practical, transparent, no-nonsense advise. With such time sensitive matters, this office is very accommodating, compassionate, and understanding of parents with special needs children. Mr. Fragoso took the time to know both children, he understood exactly what services they required. In a years time, he attended more than 10 IEP’s on our behalf, and was able to initiate and put into place what I had intended for my children’s education. Thank you!
