Totally my fault for ignoring it, got a garnishment, immediately tried to contact to pay in full and was given hoops to jump through. Jumped through said hoops. Finally was able to pay IN FULL, but company refuses to issue me a receipt and to contact employer to stop garnishment. So they will still be garnishing me. This is all within 4 days of the initial garnishment notification. Have proof of payment only through bank account. Rep was rude and condescending. Also poorly spoken english. This company is a joke. Why anyone would hire them is a mystery! Want to start a class action lawsuit based on all these reviews with people having the same experiences. I don't even care about the money at this point I just want this company out of business!
Everyone on this website have to understand that this a law firm and if it got to this point, then you didn't do your part before it got to this point. I had to deal with them as well and I knew I was screwed because I let it get this far. I had plenty of time prior to take care of it and I did not. So yes when you call expect the pressure on you and don't expect to have the person on the other line be nice to help you, your now calling because your behind the 8 ball or your being sued. All of this sucks, but there are trying to get the money for the creditor that you have been ignoring for a long time. In my case, they have been calling me for at least 6-months. Remember not to sit on it and take care of it right away before it gets to this status.
I've recently figured out they are charging me 21% interest on my debt account. That is illegal in my state. Not only was I not informed of the interest which they legally have to do, but the maximum interest they are allowed to charge in a court order payment is 8%! So they're saying my balance due is about $1800 more than it should be!!! Of course their online portal records no payments and tracks nothing so unless, like me, you pay very close attention, you'd never know. I wonder how many people they are doing this to!
Crooks. Worst people I have to work with. Their “settlements” aren’t legit. They maybe take off 200 bucks if you are LUCKY. They talk down to you like you’re stupid, they are rude and condescending… it was an awful time speaking with them. Not to mention the first 4 times I called they refused to help me and kept transferring me to the main menu. I hope not many people have the displeasure of working with them and I’m sorry if you do.
Paid 3 weeks ago right after my court appearance with attorney Nate Udell. As of today the case still has not been dismissed with prejudice as agreed. I have called 3 times and emailed the attorney directly. I spoke with Josh yesterday who told me they will file the dismissal on their time not mine. We have a Pre Trial hearing next week and advised that the judge would not be happy this.is tying up the docket when it has been resolved. His response was "It happens all the time". I now have to spend time contacting the judges chambers. If necessary I will be filing a complaint with the State Bar
