I have used Mr. Shane on numerous occasions, one of which was shortly after I moved to this area. I was being wrongly harassed by a creditor who would not give me a bill nor tell me what I was being sought for. Within a week, he had their attention and their letters and phone calls ceased. I'd never heard of a legal case resolved so precisely so quickly. He has given me sound advice in a timely and friendly manner and always for a very reasonable fee. His offer to guide and counsel, to listen and support is critical to me with any professional, especially one with legal matters. He has even referred me to other counsel in a different field of service and state that would offer me like counsel. He always cares about my well-being and preparation. Having a trusted legal professional like Steve, (just like a healthcare provider team of specialists) is vital to me. Steve is a friend and a true professional.

Steven Shane can present an abrasive personality which is a good thing when representing you in a lawsuit. I had to settle an identity theft financial problem which, years after its resolution, had the account balance after the settlement agreement sold to a collection agency. I just wanted the collection agency to go away which Mr. Shane made happen. In the process, he also got a nice settlement in my behalf. Steve Shane did a great job!

Mr. Shane is a good man...he has a seemingly rough exterior and a bit of a blunt way of speaking...but his knowledge of his field and the law in regards to it are second to none in Cincinnati. If you call him...he answers. If you email...he responds. If you want a cunning barracuda in a world full of sharks....he's your guy. I would seek his counsel if needed and hire him again without hesitation. The outcome he achieved was far greater than I thought possible and couldn't be happier. Thank you sir ;-)

I'm Steve Shane. I would prefer to be judged less on my personality and more on the results of my work. I'm the first to admit to being short occasionally with callers. Especially, with those people inconsiderate enough to call at end of the day when you're trying to leave for home or those who expect you to answer their long winded questions. Hard for them to believe that sometimes there isn't a good answer to give. These are the same people who would never think of calling a doctor and doing the same. However, they seem to have the time to take out of their busy schedules to be critical of someone who just tried to help them. In my experience it's mostly the unhappy and miserable people in life who take the time to write and its usually critical. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. In my own defense, the few people who wrote negative things, with the exception of the goofy lady who wrote that I won her case yet she was still unhappy with me, never became my clients and never met me in person where they haven't a clue about how effective I am as a lawyer. I'm being judged entirely on a brief telephone call. I've found that with some people you might try and answer their questions but then, after answering, they continue to ask the same question over and over until you've finally lost patience. Predictibly, like the people that wrote negatively here, these people would find me rude such that they would take the trouble to write a negative review in spite of the fact that I attempted to help them. I always say that no good deed goes unpunished. To those people who are skeptics, I suggest you call and find out for yourselves or, better yet, read all the positive reviews of people who actually became clients and how they felt I handled their cases.
