Bill Abernathy represented my mom in a divorce and just took advantage of her in a time of need. He filed 22 continuances, allowed my father to skip multiple depositions and would just bill my mom to file for another deposition, my father fired his attorney and called Bill Abernathy and got “free advice” (I put it in quotes because he advised my father and billed my mom for the calls), and was incredibly insensitive to mom multiple times telling her that “I didn’t marry the son of a *****!”. He let my father drag the divorce over 2 years and billed my mom in excess for $30,000 without ever coming to a resolution. Finally my mom fired him and hired a competent attorney he doesn’t take advantage of women in their darkest hour. I would go out of my way to ensure that no other person ever gets abused by this inconsiderate arrogant lout!
We close loans all over the country and its rare to find a title company with such speed, accuracy and attention to detail. Heather Harrison was our POC and she was very thorough and on the ball. We dont run across too many deals in Kentucky being a hard money lender, but if we ever have another deal in this area, we would most definitely trust this firm again with our business. 5 stars -T&M Commercial Funding
