I worked with Summer Chappell and Mr. Harris. My experience was wonderful. He was honest about everything from the start. If he had any doubts, he let me know. Communication with Summer was excellent. When she was out of the office, Amanda handled everything quickly as well. There were no hidden charges, they were upfront about the cost from day 1. I actually tried to represent myself and had no clue what I was doing and they cleaned up the mess I made and got me an outcome I would have never dreamed of. Went through Ms Barr for a custody case. I wanted a protective order for my son because of the abuse he was experiencing by his stepfather (Gun involved with text proof of admission ) but was told I couldn't do that. She recommended me someone specific she knew as an ad Litem attorney for my son who turned out to be rude and hard to get a hold of once I payed for their service. Ms Barr Would tell me I needed to contact the ad litem Attorney directly with questions I had. But then would be told by the ad Litem attorney that I couldn’t talk with him and need to go through my attorney for any Communication between me and him (ad litem). She made it very confusing and discouraging at times. I just now received the CPS report years later backing up everything my son was saying but now to late because It was settled in mediation but not the outcome I was expecting . I feel like this law firm and the system in general has failed my son and in debt to this day over it all.

The Harris law firm booked me an appointment for a free consultation then totally blew me off. I made the appt on a Friday for the following Weds at 4p. On the next Tuesday at 6:11pm I got a random text to confirm my appt. I did not see until 1:32pm the day of but I still confirmed it. Got a text to fill out my intake form sent to the email, which was the wrong email. So at 2:18 day of I got the email. I was working so I did not submit it until 10 mins before the appt. It’s an excessively detailed and inconvenient intake form. You need time to do it as well because it me like 20 minutes. Anyways 15 minutes later I’m still waiting for the call. It was 5 past so I decided to try to give a call to the office. No answer. If you need someone dependable I definitely recommend a better law firm. I am in eastern time zone with a case in Texas.

I want to say that Trey Harris and his entire staff did an Excellent job in handling my case. I was extremely pleased with all the hard work and effort that the firm had put into my case as it was extremely complicated from start to finish. I would highly recommend Trey Harris and his team for there knowledge and experience and most definitely would use him again ! Thanks again ! James Coye .
