I met John Leunig three years ago when I was arrested for a false accusation of a horrible crime. I interviewed about a dozen attorney's before I hired John and I could not be more happy with my decision. Throughout this entire period, John treated me like his own son. Being that I have never committed a crime, I had no idea what to expect. Throughout each phase of this process, John was positive, empathetic and informative. My case eventually went to trial. During this crucial time, John was relentless. I could not believe his preparation, attention to detail, and pure desire to find the truth in my defense. I could not have been more impressed with his professionalism, kindness and dedication towards my case. He kept my family informed, brought out the real truth, and I eventually won. I can not imagine a better defense attorney for such a serious case. He will forever hold my grace and appreciation for everything he did for my family and I. He saved my life. John is AMAZING! John has helped not only myself, but my father and 2 of my good friends. John answered his phone every time I called him until I paid him his retainer, he even answered on Sunday once and spoke to me for 45 minutes. However, after I paid him I was lucky to get through at all and usually only spoke to him immediately before court sessions. In 2013, I spent $5,000 and a year going through the process with John Leunig, and what did it get me? Absolutely zilch. John was no benefit to my case at all, because after a year of him defending me in court, I ended up with the same exact deal that the prosecutor offered on day 1. I would have been better off accepting the original offer and not having an attorney at all. In addition to John Leunig not improving my case in any way, I was not able to reach him at all following sentencing, not even to answer a simple question about some technicality of my sentencing. After giving him $5,000 with no benefit at all, I could simply not get a minute of his time. Beware, John will use his 'Minnesota Bar Association' certification to sell you on his services, because apparently only something like 1% of lawyers have it, but I'm not convinced that it means anything at all. I would look somewhere else. Attorneys are not moral creatures by nature, but there are certainly better choices.

I don't have enough words to describe how amazing the experience with John was. He worked very hard to make sure you have winning results. I could not have asked for better services. From the moment I first called until my case was over, I was at ease that I has made the right choice. Thanks again John.
