Although I am not from Orange County, I ended up going down to visit friends and got myself in some trouble. I didn't know what to do since I was out of my comfort zone and not familiar with any lawyers in that area. I had never been in trouble before so I turned to a friend for a recommendation. She suggested I call Rondee Eagle, a criminal lawyer, who had an excellent reputation in the community. I called her office and was informed Ms. Eagle was in trial and couldn't see me until the beginning of the week. My friend suggested I go watch Ms. Eagle in trial and see if she would be someone I would feel comfortable with. I went and watched Ms. Eagle and she was fantastic. At some point, the court took a recess, and I approached Ms. Eagle to tell her about my situation and told her I was referred over to her. She couldn't have been nicer. At the end of her day, she met with me. Suffice it to say, I hired Ms. Eagle to help me out of the mess I had gotten myself in. She was at all times professional, caring and available. I don't know how she did it, but I received what they call diversion. I had to do some classes, not break the law again (which I will never do again), and my case was dismissed. I was told by a lawyer I spoke with before Ms. Eagle that my case would not qualify for any kind of a dismissal and I would have to live with a felony. Because of Ms. Eagle's perseverance, that turned out not to be true. She did such an amazing job. Ms. Eagle saved me from losing my job as well as my reputation. I can't thank her enough and am forever grateful.
