Over the years, my husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Sandor and his team on our co-op sale in Manhattan and on our purchase in Brooklyn. For all kinds of reasons familiar to anyone buying a home in NYC, both turned out to be rather complex transactions that required a lot of time, knowledge and hand-holding, which Sandor so patiently handled at each and every turn. Part of what we loved about working with Sandor is his ability to think both creatively and strategically--we had a lot of roadblocks and each time he presented us with smart solutions that not only addressed the challenges but also saved us plenty of time, stress and even some money! Plus he always quickly and thoughtfully answered all of our countless and I'm sure very annoying questions. I've since recommended him to many friends and colleagues and all have returned with excellent reviews!

My wife and I have retained Sandor as a real estate attorney to buy twice and sell once in Brooklyn, and on all three occasions he was nothing short of a total pro. Transacting property in the city can be occasionally nerve wracking, but Sandor is the ultimate steady hand at the tiller. Knowledgeable, diligent, tough when needed and always driving the process forward on your behalf. He also makes himself remarkably available at all kinds of hours to answer questions. We will certainly use him again when/if the time comes and recommend him to all our friends buying and selling in the city.

Stay away from this firm. We recently bought a home in Brooklyn and used the firm to represent us in the transaction. Our first call was great, but everything went downhill from there. They were not responsive, and it became a full-time job staying on top of them to keep the transaction moving. When it came time for the contract and punch list, the attorney totally botched that, and I had to correct her mistakes and send it back to her. Post-closing, we had some issues and repeatedly contacted the firm, were told they were looking into it, but have not heard anything for weeks. Sadly, working with this firm was the most stressful part of an already stressful process. Client service is obviously not a priority. There are lots of great law firms in NYC, and I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
