Adam Sklar is a great attorney who has been handling adoptions for years. He takes the time to educate his clients on the process and will level-set expectations. Unfortunately Adam cannot hand select most of the birth parents who come to him and those saying 'he will sabotage your adoption so he can keep making money off you' are simply not telling the truth. His fee is fixed despite how many birth parents you might work with over your journey. Keeping a client around longer only costs him more money. His objective is to find you a good placement as quickly as possible. Unfortunately some birth parents are on drugs and others know how to game the system. This is the nature of the beast when dealing with someone who might not want to or legally cannot keep their child. Adam will walk you through the entire process and will always have your back ethically and financially. Adam is extremely responsive and always available. I would look at the grammar of the people writing negative reviews. His clientele are not those people. You can trust Adam to get you through this process better than any agency can.

Adam is amazing! I can not believe how much work he put into making sure my adoption was successful. Adam was available night and day. He would respond to texts at 3:30am and at 7am. He worked on my case while I slept. He has connections with social workers and other adoption attorneys all over the country. Adam said I would probably adopt a baby within a year. Well, two weeks after my adoption website was published, I adopted a baby!!! I still can’t believe it. (I know this is very unusual and the typical wait is one year so please don’t use my case as the standard but wow that was fast). I’m a single mom by choice and never thought I would be able to adopt a newborn baby boy who is perfectly healthy. Adam made it happen! We were being treated very poorly, and we actually were recommended by another attorney to Adam. She told us he was the one we needed. She was right!
