Mr. Chris Downey is such a strong attorney that is not afraid of helping all his clients to the fullest. He is very well known in Harris county and surrounding areas. He knows judges and district attorneys. He has helped myself and family since highschool and is still out defendant. We truly admire his heart and passion for what he does best. If you need a tough attorney that really cares, our man is Chris Downey, I say this because we have so much admiration and respect for him and his colleagues.

I absolutely love Chris and his staff! They’ve always treated me and my family great. He’s the best at what he does hands down! I highly recommend him and he’ll always be our family attorney.

I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Initially he seemed very warm and made me feel as if he had my husband’s best interest at heart. However once he was retained and paid things changed. I could never get in touch with him. All of my questions went unanswered, I did a lot of footwork and paid $10,000.00 only for him to say things against us as clients. Like he didn’t believe in my husband’s innocence. Not to mention every time I talked to him someone was getting sentenced. I ended up canceling him as our attorney and because we never went to court I asked for some of my money back. He was retained for less than a month and only returned $3,000.00 of my money and we never even went to court.

Chris is and always will be my guy. He has defended me multiple times and always comes with great results. He is by far the best in Houston. I referred multiple other people to him and they have all gotten the same type of good results.

BEWARE!! Do Not Hire this Attorney!! He will just take your money! He will make you think he's helping you out by offering you a payment plan to pay out your case. But he'll drag your case out for as long as it takes for you to finish paying it out, then it's down hill from there! For ME, $10,000 dollars and 2 yrs later and my case LOST! IN the beginning he told me all the cases he's won and how he got someone off for murder and also that my case has a good chance for good outcome. Not so! You'll start to notice the LIES he'll tell you and that my only option is to take what the prosecutor has to offer. He and the prosecutor work together in helping to make the court money off of You! He will pick and choose the clients that He genuinely wants to help, that's if there wealthy! If you don't have money and need a payment plan, he'll take it, then you'll see a different side of this Attorney when it's all payed. He'll scare you into believing that your case isn't looking good for you, and to take the offer from the prosecutor. Don't Listen! It"s because He wants to get rid of you, so he can move on to better and more important people, and or cases. So,Does that sound like a Good Defence Attorney? Someone who constantly trying to talk you into taking a guilty charge? When in the beginning it was all good and gives you high hopes.
