I had Mark Theut as a Court appointed Public Defender/attorney at the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, Probate court back in 2015 for a Guardianship case involving me and my parents. My parents were given Co-Guardianship over me, and only recently, I had found out that the paperwork provided to the courts was not only improperly filled out, but that a Non-Existent Diagnosis was used to justify the my Guardianship on the paperwork. for someone who has been Practicing Probate and Trust/Estate Law since at least 1979 alone, this is extremely suspicious and very shady to me that he didn't catch all the errors in the paperwork, and especially the blatant Lie of a diagnosis that I did not have. I am Not a lawyer, but even i know this is Basic stuff, and the fact that it wasn't caught, is pretty "damming" to me, especially since very clearly remember him telling me during that time to "just sign it, it'd be a good thing", and "it'll help you in the long run", when in fact, its been the very reason I am having so many issues trying to live my life on my own. I would definitely NOT recommend using Mark Thuet if he is your public defender and would highly recommend requesting another counsel, let alone pay to have him represent you in Probate Matter.

Not sure where all the five star reviews came from. I have physical proof that we paid Paul Theut and he is still coming after our family for more money.

I know Mark Theut professionally and personally and he is one of the finest attorneys Ive had the pleasure to deal with. I wish more were like Mark.
