ZERO STARS...THE WORST experience ever! Egomaniac who is so busy bragging about himself and his experience he can’t hear you detail your needs. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! Personality… Condescending, arrogant, bloated ego, ego maniacal and basically thinks he knows it all. He doesn’t and he can’t back up any of what he says. Professionally… He’s a has been. The first two meetings were dominated by him telling us how great he was, how everyone knew him, how he’s the guy that speaks at seminars and how everyone in Charlotte knows him and thinks he’s the greatest. He acts like he’s doing you a favor to answer your questions. Take my word, he’s the worst. Communication… Forget about having communication. Numerous calls with no calls back. Never available when needed. Replies to emails slowly at best. No detail. For over two decades I’ve owned my own business dealing with hundreds of other professionals and this is by far the very worst communicator I’ve ever met. Again all he did is talk about how great he was. And don’t ever question anything he’s doing or ask for reasoning… He will blow up on you, threaten to fire you and act as if he’s the greatest thing. The “how DARE you question me boy! I’m the greatest lawyer God ever put on earth” attitude. Do everything you can not to be misrepresented by this man. Preparedness… He’s never prepared. Every conversation is a repeat of the previous. Results… Poor at best! We finally fired him and hired someone else. We’re extremely pleased with our new lawyer. If you want to lose a case, be talked to rudely and listen to a man talk about how great he is in the few phone conversations you’ll have... Normans your guy. If you need a good lawyer, stay the hell away from Norman Butler. He’s an embarrassment to the legal community.

I used Mr. Butler’s services for a family member a few years back. This man is the best criminal attorney I know. As long as you’re truthful/honest and let him know what you can and cannot do, he will go to bat for you. He will do everything he can to help his clients. I always refer people to him. And yes he’s an attorney and expects and well deserves his money.

Norman Butler was the worst in my Fiancé’s case. If you don’t reach out to him DO NOT expect to hear anything from him. My fiancé sat downtown for a year and 5 months with little to no communication from Norman or his office. He stuttered his way through court and once my fiancé was sentenced he washed him hands with him. Gave us no info on the next steps and when we called to get more info his attitude was HORRIFIC!!!!! He was outrageously rude! Do not hire him. I’m not saying this just to be saying it. I literally don’t want anyone to have to go through what we went thru! DO! NOT! HIRE! HIM!

They haven't been able to settle my case for 6 months now and have consistently rescheduled court dates because they forgot to attend my court date the second time and cost me trouble and a suspended license. They fixed their mistake but the amount of unprofessionalism is ridiculous with this law firm. Not to mention, if you don't contact them, expect to not hear anything about your case. Worst law firm experience ever.

This attorney is one of the worst I have every delt with. It has been a whole week and I heard nothing back from him after sittign down nd being charged $250 to talk to him for 15minutes. He gives the run around and I would never tell a dog to use this attorney
