In the most terrifying moment of my life, when my father suffered a stroke, Trident Medical Center provided the best care we could have hoped for. The doctors were thorough and confident, the nurses and therapists were exceptional, and every single person who entered our room was thoughtful and genuinely compassionate. Their sincere wishes for my dad's recovery truly touched us. The combination of high-quality facilities, advanced treatments, and the kindness of the staff made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful for the care we received and feel reassured knowing there is such outstanding medical care available. I only have good things to say and wish them continued success in providing life-saving, high-quality medicine.
I was transferred from another hospital for admission due to Surgeon request so I could have surgery next day. No rooms available so I was put in ER instead. Was okay for awhile where I was, but then they moved me to a large room (like a ward) where several patients were unruly, yelling and cursing all night. By morning my BP was up and I was a nervous wreck. My call bell didn’t work and I was hooked up to IV’s so I couldn’t get up to go to the bathroom by myself. Needless to say it was not a good experience. The nursing staff was great! I felt sorry for what they had to go through.
Brought here by ambulance after falling at my daughter’s house. EMT recommended I was transported to Trident. He mentioned he would take his own wife here first. We are from Buffalo, NY and appreciated his advice. My care in the ER was spot on. My pre op care was wonderful and I was assigned a very good surgeon. Even though this was a tragic event on my vacation, I will always have great memories of my care at Trident!
Had three peg tubes replaced in two weeks. The ER department kept putting the wrong size peg tube in causing it to come out of my belly. The last physician figured the correct size and I haven't had a problem since.
They were the most uncaring and the pain I was in was a 10+ and I screamed and was scolled by the nurse not to scream. She said it was too loud. This was the caucasian nurse with blonde and pink streaks in her hair.. The way she made me feel was sadly unforgettable.
