I spent $500 to help me with an unemployment appeal. He basically did nothing. I had to do 90% of the talking myself, and the phone lines at the office had a bad connection that made the whole experience worse. We lost the case so not only was I now unemployed with no unemployment benefits, I was out $500 for the lawyer fees. Total waste of money. Edit: They're trying to imply I never had a case with them, which is untrue. It was from 2016 and I still have the emails as proof. Interesting how they never reached out to make it right, but instead tried to imply I was lying. Always keep the receipts. ????

My first experience ever having to hire an attorney and overall a good experience. They were generally quite clear on what was happening and when. There were some times communication felt lacking but these were often during times when my attorney was also waiting on something (a date to pass, a response, etc.) Still would be nice for a check-in from time to time for new clients that don't really understand the process and are likely anxious about the entire thing.
