I worked with Jane Champagne on Divorce Proceedings and Estate planning in 2015-16. I believe divorce is always difficult for all involved, but in this MOST difficult time in my life, Jane treated me with such kindness and professionalism. I had much to learn and she was always kind and reassuring, but honest with me and spoke truth when I needed to hear it. She took the time to truly understand my situation and present realistic options for divorce settlement. She knew what I should ask for and helped me prepare for mediation so that my goals were clear to the mediator and reasonable for the situation. Joan Champagne is a seasoned attorney who, unlike few in the industry, is also readily available to her client. She represented me in my legal matters. She spent good deal of time understanding my needs - things that are absolutely non-negotiable, things that can be tuned. She challenged me in places where I was overboard, advised me upfront about the strength and weaknesses of my case. I found her very transparent and ALWAYS available. This was the best experience with Joan. She has responded to me emails/queries/calls within hours. Many times, we went back and forth several times in a day. She had no surprise vacations/unavailability and if she was out for a while, she would let me know and also ensured that there were no key events scheduled in that period.
