My sister has worked with Don Baerveldt for more than 3 years now. She has paid him over 10 grand. He has never stood up for her and will not fight for her in court. He is a very incompetent attorney. They are holding 30 k in her husband’s VA funds and will not release funds. Please don’t use this law firm.They aren’t honest people. We live paycheck to paycheck. Her husband is a vet. Please don’t use this firm.

While it is never a positive experience to require legal representation, Chris did a tremendous job of explaining the process, timeline, and range of possible outcomes. Chris worked so hard for 8 long months to help bring my little girl home to me. He answered all of my many, many questions and always put my mind at ease while I was going through one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with.
