Barr, Jones & Associates needs more lawyers on staff like Nancy Ludwig. She isn't afraid to go above and beyond to take care of business. She has helped me off and on for years with different legal issues and frankly I wouldn't want anyone else doing it.

I had Nancy Ludwig represent me and she went above and beyond my expectations. She was knowledgeable and took the time to become familiar with the specific details regarding my situation. I would recommend her to my family and friends.

What started off as a good experience went very wrong. My lawyer was helping me to retrieve my 3 year old son from his father in California (by law I have custody). She typed up paperwork for the local authorities as well as spoke with them on the phone to ensure their help in my son's retrieval. The letter looked good. I also brought all paperwork with me that they would need. She had me go ahead and book my flight, giving me no reason to think that I would not or could not get my son. I asked her if I needed anything from a judge and her response was that I shouldn't because it was law that I have custody. So I go all the way out to California, get to where my son was staying only for the cop to tell me that they could not do anything with just a letter and paperwork, and that I had to have a judges approval on it (mind you, I'd already asked Nancy about this before I flew out). Also, I was scheduled to fly out with my son the following day. I was surprised by this especially because she had talked to the authorities already about the situation. This should have been the time for her to find out if a judges approval was needed. I spent time and funds to get my son and was left standing in front of the house not able to do anything. When I informed her of this she said that she can try to file for Emergency Custody and that it would cost more money as it would have to go ahead of her other cases. Even when I got to California and told her I was on my way to where my son was and that I was worried about the situation she said to stand firm in my rights and that HOPEFULLY they would listen. I did not fly out there for a hopefully and she had never spoken like this before I left Ohio. Something as simple as needing approval from a judge should have been taken care of when I was in Ohio, and when I asked if there was anything I need signed by a judge. I am very disappointed with the lack of effort and the time I wasted only to have to return to Ohio without my son. I do not recommend Nancy as I feel like she did not take my case seriously. Now I have to find another law firm and start this process all over again.

Where do I even begin!?... Nancy Ludwig has changed my life forever! She helped me get custody of 3 children, whom, without her, wouldn't have a family to call their own. She single handedly created my beautiful blended family. And I will forever be in debt to her. On top of changing lives, she makes sure she does it within reason and makes sure things happen in a timely manner. She is very professional and respectful. She will stop at nothing to make sure you are represented fully and gives her all to make sure you receive the best outcome possible. Ive reccomened her, and her firm, to anyone that is in need of legal representation. 5 stars!!!!
