Without Hugh Field — I as a young Iowa citizen struggling with my heart, which took my life from cardiac arrest, in 2019… and then has given me so many issues since. I’ve struggled with ventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation. Struggle to do most tasks in life, preventing me from having a good state of mind… and severe anxiety. I had no faith at my age, of 34 that I would be able to get disability. I wouldn’t be here, receiving any type of disability without him. He believed in my case from day one — and pushed through it, helping me anyway he could. He’s very personable and accommodating to any matter put in front of him. I want to thank him and this law firm so much for helping me. I know I’d still be hurting without him. I needed this ????
Total scam. Initially appeared like they would put up a good fight but it turns out they were in bed with the opposing party. Stole over $10,000.00 from us without helping us whatsoever. Wanted to settle at the first chance they got. Typical slimey attorney. They couldn't even remember the details of the case from one communication to the next because they knew they were going to just take our money and run no matter what. Caveat emptor but really, they should be disbarred for taking our money the way they did. Does the world need more shady lawyers like this? That would be a resounding no!!!
I had John wood as an attorney for multiple years and cases. The only reason he liked me was because “I listened to him”. He never listened to me and although we did win, it wasn’t because of him. The judge is the one that used that evidence and I told him 20 times about this evidence and he didn’t use it and could have cost me having my son go back to a bad situation. He just doesn’t like to lose. Most recently he told me to send my son back to his dads and because I wouldn’t he gave me an attitude about it and charged me $1500 for doing nothing except arguing with me. And this is after I spent 20,000 already. I am going to represent myself because I care more about my child than this guy does.

I was trying to get ahold of attorney Thomas Richter. When I called, the secretary told me that he wasn’t in for the whole day. I left a voicemail, & even a couple days afterwards, I haven’t heard a single word from him. My initial meeting with him was spectacular, but Im quite disappointed after this.
