BP is all talk, no action. They tell land owners one thing, then do the opposite. If we would have known we were going to be treated with such disrespect, we would have definitely told them NO and to go drill somewhere else. No amount of money was worth tearing our land up like they did. They said they would repair our property but once the well started producing, they act like they don't know who we are and ignore our phone calls and messages. They have locked us out of our OWN PROPERTY on several occasions!!! Definitely not the company we thought they were!!!!
My wife recently retired from BP after 17 year service. As an oil company, BP offered her a not too bad retirement package. I would rate the company much better if not because she experienced very poor HR support in the process, which costs her half-year bonus. When a company cuts safety personnel, it destines for a safety failure. When a company cuts HR people, it loses future talents!
