when i was there from 2004-2012 it was rough. Constant bulling by students and administrates. Attempts of suicide, Attempts of stabbings, Drinking/drugs occurred etc. I don't know how it is now I heard my jackass principle left a few years ago so maybe it is better now all I know is when i was there i hated it.

I love this school I am in 6 th grade I just came to this school this year and for the parents you cannot believe how welcoming these children are everyone is so nice the teachers give the best education. The only thing you really need to worry about is this staff members behavior she is the most insecure adult she always yells at kids for no reason but aside from that I love almost every thing else the priceable is so nice but he is not really the leader of the school but the students love him even me

This school gives the best education, the teachers are amazing, and the overall running of the school is organized. But if u would not like your child to be around Severe bullying, and disrespectful children I would not recommend sending your child here. This school has showed not only myself but other students harassment. The staff does not do anything about bullying. Other than the education my experience was terrible, and they should do something about the way the students treat each other.

I have been to this school since Kindergarten until about 2 years ago, I had to move. I definitely miss this place, the teachers, and all my friends. I will never forget all the memories this school has given me. I really wish that I have the time to visit this school again. (If Timmy sees this, HI TIMMY IT JIMMY~

It has been 8 years i know this school and recommend it definitely*****The p.s.i.s.49 is the best elementry school for real and my kids loves this school so much....very friendly and helpful staff, easy to talk and communicate with the teachers and nicest pta meetings too...feeling all comfortable and secure buildings...on the other hands i wish they can add a pre-k building or at least some pre-k classes for little age students********* THANK YOU P.S.I.S. 49 principal,teachers,staff:) and all very much**************************************Also the new building is very cool very nice
