We purchased a home that had a known issue by the previous owner that was not disclosed. A few weeks after moving in we were forced to spend near $10,000 to remedy this. We were directed to Mr. Covahey by word of mouth to try and seek compensation. After a few months he did manage to send one letter to the previous owner and that was the end of it. Mr. Covahey no longer returns our calls. I can't imagine one letter to be worth the $1,000 retainer we paid. He should have at least gotten back to us to let us know if it was a pointless endeavor. Would not recommend.
