I used John Payne because of his MI/PA certifications. I was a MI resident, my Mother's & a dear friend's estate in PA. We never met face-to-face. He gave me a relatively comprehensive price for the convoluted services I needed. I sent him a retainer. After approximately 8 months, he helped me resolve several estate issues with two different estates that were interrelated. He kept me well informed with expenses. At the end, I got part of my retainer back. I felt his charges were fair and reasonable. Having never met him in person, I was extremely impressed with his follow through, contact, and ethics. We had already been taken heavily by 2 different PA lawyers prior to getting involved with him.
