The most horrible business experience I had in my life! Avoid this office unless you want to punish someone by sending them here. Recommend this office only to your greatest enemy! As a real estate professional I took 2 of my closings to this office. The front desk secretary was very nice at first but later on made threats that had no legal grounds without any knowledge of real estate laws. I immediately made an appointment with the attorney (her employer) to see if that is the law office decision or just her own threats. Her threats were that unless I close the next day, she will forfeit the earnest money. That is a very serious allegation! The attorney apologized for the problems caused by his secretary and admitted that the threats had no legal ground (there were still 8 days according to the contract for the closing). But until that moment I was terrified, everything was chaotic and one would expect that anything coming from a legal (attorney's office) environment HAS LEGAL (LAW) SUPPORT. This was not the case. The secretary also messed up prices for the transaction (we had an amendment to change price) that she ignored. The secretary also failed to read emails and keep up with the documents submitted. The secretary started to impose her schedule and preferences: she knew that I was going to be at their office in a Friday and said "since you are going to be here on Friday, you can close the other transaction too or you will lose the earnest money, the attorney will back me up on this". The secretary also disclosed personal information to third parties from another transaction even if asked not to disclose anything without my knowledge (I asked to at least be part of the conversation if she does it anyway). Since I asked, it is illegal for her to disregard that. It is THE LAW! She disregarded my request and the law anyway! And I was the one paying 100% for the closing costs on all transactions. It really was a nightmare and I was really devastated that my legal rights were threatened in an attorney's office. As I said, the attorney apologized and cleared everything but it was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had in my life! And until the attorney cleared it all, I lived with terror! Never recommend this office unless it is to a great enemy.
