I had Joanne Dwyer assigned as my legal aid attorney for a case that I caught in 2019. When i first met her & tried to explain my side of the story to her she cut me off in the middle of me explaining what happened, and said it’s late she have 10 other clients behind me and that she wanted to go home. So she rushed me out without getting a good understanding from me because she was tired and wanted to go home. From that right there I knew I was going to jail because she never took the time out to listen to me to better represent me. After I seen the the judge I have got committed and offered me bail smh for something I allegedly got accused for. Then the next time I went to court for this case she tried to convince me to take 3.5 year offer making it seem like I did something wrong. I recommend that you change your lawyer ASAP if Joanne Dwyer ever gets assigned to your case. Really bad and traumatic experience with this lady
