I took a check up there that was two years old from my deceased father to go through probate and explained to them that I apologized for it being as old as it is, and that it was just a sensitive issue for me to tackle. No more than 30 minutes after I left I received an email from Jennifer borderline belittling me for not bringing it in sooner, and told me to come get the check back and have the bank re issue it because they can’t do anything with it until that was done. I went back and got the original check from the firm, and took it to the branch manager of first horizon. She looked up the check number, and told me that the check is still good for another 5 years as it is a cashiers check and it can go through probate whenever I’m ready to do so. Jennifer saw the check, the date it was issued and said to hell with it before even making an attempt at doing her job. I have since reached back out to the law firm several times in an attempt to get this resolved and some girl just takes my information and tells me Jennifer is on the other line but will give me a call back asap. This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer, and I’m now having to go through another law firm and experience all the same exact feelings of discomfort I had to once already. The last thing I will do is recommend anybody do is reach out to this firm for assistance. *edit* attached is a portion of the email I’m referring to. Again I explained to them the check was old before dropping it off, and there is clear claim they can do nothing for me because of how old the check is, and felt the need to reiterate that if I had brought it in sooner they could have helped me…. Only for me to take the check up to a bank and be told it was completely fine. I’m glad you didn’t find the email rude, but you’re wrong. If Jennifer would have even made an effort she would have known the check was good to go and could have sent me over the adjusted fee agreement. I also have an email from her now the this review is posted… they number I’ve been calling and leaving is my new number so your receptionist hasn’t even bothered taking down the info I’ve been giving them? You guys only began making an effort after you got a bad review. Thank you for nothing.

Wesley was very professional and had a great personality. I came to the meeting with a lot of questions and he was very knowledgeable and patient. He explained everything that he did and made me feel very comfortable. I did not feel rushed. I will recommend him highly to anyone that needs his specialty of practice.
