Attorney Ballard was great in handling my case. My case was handle in a very professional and timely matter. I would strongly recommend her to all my friends.

If I could give her no stars, I would. She is the most disrespectful attorney. I can’t even fathom that someone who WORKS for us speak to my fiancé the way she did. She didn’t update her invoice (we have numerous screenshots with a $0 balance) for 2.5 years and then did right before the final trial date. We paid it in full ($4800) and a week later she said his final bill was another $2500. We seen NO itemized invoices for either bill. A week after his three year divorce she is demanding to be paid in full and harassing him with threats that there’s going to be a problem with him paying $100 biweekly and apparently that’s not good enough for her. She was a terrible attorney aside from the screaming and hanging up on HER client, she hardly returned phone calls, emails and even bad mouthed the opposing council. This attorney will leave a bad taste in your mouth, do NOT hire her.

Attorney Ballard was sensitive to my needs and was always working to be sure that my rights under the law were protected. She kept me aware at all times as to what was going on with my case. I would not hesitate to contact her again if I needed further assistance.

Tomiko has handled two Family court cases on my behalf and both have provided favorable results for my children and myself! My eldest has since gone on and obtained not one but two degrees, experienced education abroad and is fluent in a second language! This would not have been possible without the additional financial resources provided to my children. Family litigation is not for the faint of heart but having faith and patience in Tomiko to place my children’s needs above my own and hers has turned out to be the best decision in choosing her office for representation I’ve made! Period! Go with Tomiko, she understands the personal and intellectual needs of children!

Really not sure where the positive reviews came from on this. Simply stopped by to see if I could set up an appointment for a consultation for a child custody issue. After giving my info to the female at the front desk the attorney opened the door and asked if I had an appointment. I explained I did not and was just interested in trying to set when up when she was available. She rudely responded with well we are very busy with court. I explained it didn't have to be today and that I was interested in trying to get in when possible. She immediately responded with well it's going to cost you $250 to speak with me. I advised her that my insurance recommend her and was covering the consultation fee. She stated that they don't cover her services (even though I reverified after and even had another attorney accept it). Since she was obvious not willing to take this case for some unknown reason I asked for her advice on if she knew any other good custody attorneys and she immediately responded with a rude no and to leave. I honestly can't believe someone who's job it is to speak for others can barely speak appropriately to someone willing to pay for their services. Not sure if she was having a bad day of if this is normal but if you can't control your emotions outside of the court room I most certainly don't want you representing me inside it.
