I came to Jessica Huey looking for a divorce attorney to help with the default package. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience and I do not recommend anybody seek for her advice. The paperwork was not done on time, it took her almost three times longer than she promised. The biggest issue for me was that she did not look at my case very attentively and did not review the documents I previously filed with the court. As a result, the default package she prepared for me was not entered- I wasted my time and money. You don't want to hire an attorney who just fills in the forms without thinking whether it is the right next step to take. She definitely lacks professionalism and experience. PS. After I submitted this review I received a new bill from Jessica with the amount that twice exceeded flat rate we agreed upon. I am assuming that writing negative reviews for the services of this office can be expensive :-)

If I could give a 0 star, I would. This Lawyer does not care about her clients! My mother has been trying to get help from her for months on how to go about her case, she ignores her calls, does not call back and can go weeks without responding to emails. 9 days ago, I reached out to her to see if we can get help or if we should just look for another lawyer, she ignored that email and the 4 that followed. My mom had to have her hearing yesterday - alone, with no interpreter and no lawyer, because Jessica never followed up or showed up. Her email response today, after all the emails, calls and missing the court date "I am not always available". We definitely learned our lesson and tried to get your help for way longer than we should have, our fault for thinking you'd be a good person/lawyer. We will go on to finding someone that cares and wants to help out her clients. PS: I am very well aware that if she didn't want to take the case, she was fully allowed to decline it. However, that was not the case - every now and then, she would answer, act like our lawyer, give advice and then disappear for weeks or months again.

I hired Audrey Gamble to represent me and my child given she markets herself as ProFeminist Child Custody lawyer. I ended up loosing full custody of my child because Jessica insisted that we play in gray area even though legally it was very unethical, I agreed to it. Judge caught onto this and gave 100% custody of my child to my Ex. During this case, Jessica was extremely unresponsive(at times) as the other reviews mentioned. When she was responsive, she continued to overcharge me for emails that I had already summarized to her. She is obsessed with trying to force clients to agree to stipulations to appease other parties. At times, I wondered if she is actually fighting for my husband or me? Jessica has # of complaints filed against her against state license board - Please review before hiring her. Jessica frequently crosses legal boundaries and suggests manipulation tactics which can cause you to loose your child, in this case I lost my son’s custody. Jessica will continue to overCharge. When I raised these issues, she was quite dismissive as opposed to understanding my frustration. If you need a divorce and custody attorney, Please stay away from Huey and Gamble because you are really gambling with her on your side.

My experience with the Law Offices of Huey & Gamble, LLP was disappointing to say the least. I had hired Jessica L. Huey, Esq., Partner to represent me in a custody case, and while she was initially very proactive, I found that she quickly lost interest in my case. It became difficult to get in touch with her, and the law firm engaged in some questionable billing practices. They charged me for services that were not rendered and hiked up their fees without any explanation. To make matters worse, Huey & Gamble, LLP missed several court dates, causing a significant delay in my case and resulting in additional fees and expenses. It was an incredibly frustrating experience that left me feeling powerless. In my opinion, anyone looking for legal representation in family law or custody cases should steer clear of this law firm. Their unprofessional billing practices and lack of attention to their clients' needs make them a poor choice for anyone seeking reliable legal representation.

Were I a betting man, I would say that the negative reviews below are clients that weren't totally upfront with their lawyers or just didn't listen to their lawyers good advice. I had a stellar experience with this firm. I can say with fire in my soul, these lawyers, the legal assistants, and everyone tied to this law firm are the best money I’ve ever spent. They aren’t the cheapest lawyers around, but you get what you pay for with lawyers. Do you want someone to tell you what you want to hear and take your money? Or do you want an honest law team that can accomplish your goals and gets you the best possible outcome? Listen, I was a soldier by trade, a paratrooper, airborne infantry. I think I’m reasonably well qualified to say who is a warrior and who is not. Audrey and her team will speak softly and with respect toward you. However, on the day of court, you have a whole group of professional warriors riding into battle alongside you. They won’t return until every shot is fired and every inch of ground you desire is won. These people are rockstars, standing center stage, and they’re worth far more than what I paid them. You should hire them before they realize their worth and move south to represent Hollywood stars.
