Wynton Oliviere Sharpe, confident, friendly, communicative criminal defense attorney. I had the pleasure of his pro bono legal defense in a case of NYPD corruption, brutality, false accusations which resulted in numerous arrests and a litany of absolutely fabticated charges. 13 months of adjournments because of an ovezealous, never ready ADA. First 5 months, 2 Attorneys from Legal Aid were impossible to work with. I was walking on eggshells so not to alienate them, and still, they were abrasive, uncaring, mute, and were intolerant of even a basic, innocent question regarding the law. This was not so with Counselor Sharpe. Furthermore, he had enough confidence to formulate an opinion as to the veracity of what was clearly a case of corrupt cops trying to make life impossible. Did not accept a plea, and, unlike the first Legal Aid Attorneys, Counselor Sharpe never once advised me of taking a plea to simply end the pain. He also conmented about the ridiculous length of the case, the dubious claims made by NYPD-and he actually voiced his opinion firmly before the Judge, court, and ADA. Judge was actually moved by his observations and actually expressed displeasure with the prosecution. The many false charges were fully dismissed by upon the ADA's request...Dismissed, sealed' delivered!

Stay away from this overpriced man that deceive people out of their money knowing he cannot provide a service. If I could give zero I would. Do not hire this man for any immigration matter as he doesn’t have the least idea what he’s doing and instead of telling you upfront; you will not hear from him. He and his secretary not professional at all. I do not know about his other areas of practice but DO NOT HIRE FOR IMMIGRATION he’s not good in that area and he’s overpriced!

Mr. Sharpe saw me as a person. He commanded the courtroom and convinced the judge and jury that I deserved a second chance, when everyone else doubted me. He believed in me when nobody else even viewed me as a person, and for that, I am thankful.
