They did a great job on my case, loved having them represent me.

I spent many hours and days trying to hire them to represent me for my disability case and in the end they wouldn't let me hire them until I had rounded up all the paperwork for them. I have traumatic brain injury which is why I am disabled and told them I needed help and they said that I would have to gather all the information myself. I have had other lawyers for disability before and they ALWAYS have done the paperwork. I find it really messed up to make disabled people looking for help do all the leg work so you can take 30% of their money. The lawyer herself was really nice and helpful when I spoke with her but as soon as a receptionist became my point of contact it came down to me having to do EVERYTHING just to hire them. Would have loved to work with the lawyer as she was very nice and accommodating but having such a crazy barrier to entry as making the disabled clients that are paying you do the leg work is unethical to me. EDIT: After I wrote this review the receptionist called me back to have the lawyer get on the phone and talk down to me, demean me. Literally saying, "im not here to talk about what happened or argue, do you want my help or not?" I explained that all I wanted to do was explain my experience with her staff and move on if she was willing but she kept interrupting me dangle her help over my head. I am shocked at the way the lawyer treated me and her lack of ability to listen to a complaint about HER staff being negligent and rude to disabled customers. Additionally she "didn't recall" 2 of the 3 previous conversations and constantly interrupted me to say she never said certain things. Just really really wild experience all around, no accountability, no apologies, just her trying to act like shes above me and I should be begging and gravelling to her and her rude staff. Funny cause if you read my first comment, the THREE conversations I had with her went great. Really weird that out of no where she denies having them with me. I would not recommend anyone hire this law firm for anything, let alone something as sensitive as disabilities as they have ZERO social skills when working with the disabled and just as little compassion. Very happy I got to see how they act before paying them anything.

So, again I will state my attorney experience was great and my case was won!! However, today the phone service was inadequate. I had a follow up question. I am a former client. I will NOT refer any more business to Steve's practice. The receptionist claims she is a paralegal. I didn't want her helping me any further. The next person to get on the phone didn't know the difference between ssdi and ssi and said to call Steve at home since my mother knew him and was rude. Conveniently enough, my previous message was removed. Fix your front end, it's out of control. **So now that you took the time to respond me, which my question is not specific to my $ amount I receive. Had my phone called be routed to someone who knew the difference between ssdi and ssi you would have gathered this. My file did not need to be pulled, which you don't have. As we know SS office has workers who don't know of how previously awarded aged cases work or they give mixed info. My question was in general that could have easily been providedd if given to a proper person. The question was based on permanent disability and being told I will never go to work and I am reviewed every 7 years. That's as permanent as one can get right? Lol. So my question is, that there are different retirement ages and amounts. This goes for anyone, hence the general question. I would reckon I am not getting my highest amount as I didn't retired at the last age possible though I am permanently disabled, because they keep changing the ages. This being an older case. I would imagine you all would have a general answer on the 62, 65, or 75 age that I should be receiving as permanently disabled/retired. Real simple. What is the payment based off. Considering you all got a 3rd in that time period you would know what pay scale they used and why. ???? Next time have someone take a message. It could have been done off the year and how they configured a payment compared to 2021. I am not sure, again hence my call. Maybe I should have been awarded more and you all payed more. Again, hence my call. No need to answer now, a qualified paralegal is getting back to me. They were kind enough to understand the frustration with getting a straight answer from ss and you all my previous attorney. They were more then happy and I sent them a new client.

Everyone thus far is very warm and professional. I don't feel like another dollar sign. I appreciate their compassion and support. They help to make me feel human in a process that has been a little difficult. I am grateful for my friends referral. I will be referring their services no doubt.
