I attended Buffalo State in the mid to late 80s... absolutely loved my experience here. I've been at the same profession for almost 30 years and have had a prosperous and exciting life, mostly due to the phenomenal education I received here. I'm very glad I attended when I did. I have so many really great memories. I would not want to attend today, with all these offended snowflakes.

The staff here aren't very informative. Anytime you need something they'll just send you round and round in circles wasting your time and money. The majority of the counselors treat you like an idiot. I wasted two semesters here just waiting to get out. Plus the campus is far from stores and barber shops. The closest things here are the Tops and the Family Dollar. Don't recommend it if you like to save your money and time.

Graduated in 1976. I turned out alright. Disturbing to see such nasty reviews on this. The school maybe a joke now because the whole country is now. The laughing stock of the world! It's up to you to make it better.

Buffalo State is honestly what you make of it. Every school has their flaws and room for improvement. I enjoyed my four years at Buffalo State, learned a lot, met friends that will last a life time and been apart of different student orgs on campus. Yes you have some professors that want to just collect their check and leave (thats at any school), but you have many others that you will encounter always ready to help you when you need help and want to build a relationship with you outside the classroom.

Transformational is how I would explain my experience at Buffalo State. Granted, I was enrolled in the online graduate program so I cannot comment on the location, facilities, or undergraduate offerings. I can tell you that the graduate staff at Buffalo State is tremendously helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed the Adult Education Program so much that I am continuing to take classes even after meeting my requirements for the M.S. so I can prepare for a transfer into a doctorate. If you're looking for quality distance learning, Buffalo State is the place to be.
