I highly recommend New Direction Family Law. Divorce can be very challenging with a lot of strain on the you and the kids. But Elizabeth and her team were simply awesome through the process. Mine was very complicated to say the least but Elizabeth and her team stood by me all the way. She has a lot of experience with the legal system. I strongly recommend her and her team.

Ashley and her team helped me with a child custody case in December. She only had around a week to prepare and was immediately on it. She explained the process well, what the likely outcome was, and prepared me for that. The day of trail we were able to completely skip going because she was able to reach a agreement with my child’s father. I would absolutely recommend them, 100% worth any amount of money!

*AFTER READING THE ABOVE REVIEW* I would like to respond by saying my experience was EXACTLY the same but me and my family paid significantly and I mean A LOT more than 20k to this firm. Mr Hicks was charismatic but he was constantly asking me to resend information, never truly reading emails but charging out for them over and over. I had a high conflict case and asked several times if he was equipped to handle it- he assured me yes. Without being specific, he promised to file things over the course of 3 years and would ask me to send info, charge me more it, and then never file- meanwhile my rights were being trampled on. About 10% of the evidence I provided was used and he was ill-prepared at trial and spent little to no time on our appeal. I now have to pay another attorney to clean up this mess. I did in fact try to email the manager and partners of this firm before posting any review, with promises they would get back to me- They never did. I have considered filing a complaint with the BAR due to being repetitively charged for the same information and disorganization and quite frankly, hours that were likely never worked. I’m happy so many people had a great experience. I had the opposite. Lack of communication, empty promises, lack of preparation during trial and my attorney continued to delay and miscommunicate dates. After years of asking if they had ample time to work on my case and they assured me yes, it simply was not the experience and the work showed.
