I called today because of a pending judgement against me. They scheduled a phone conference for me. When I talked to the attorney Mike he listened and gave me advice. In my personal situation it turned out at my age and situation he told me I really didn't need a attorney. It's so nice to know that there are still honest people out there. I offered to pay him for his time on the phone. He said no. If I ever need a lawyer he's the man . I would recommend him to anyone I know. How refreshing to talk to a good man. I was prepared to hire.

Mike Cleaveland is an outstanding attorney. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and he communicates well with clients. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs counsel regarding bankruptcy or debtors' rights.

I was surprised to learn that I was being sued by an attorney that I had hired. Mr. Cleaveland spent about forty minutes patiently discussing the case including different options that I would have. Instead of urging me to send him a retainer he instead suggested that I simply call the attorney to try to negotiate a settlement. It is very easy for an attorney to steer a potential client's thinking so that the client ends up paying a retainer and hiring the attorney. Instead Mr. Cleaveland freely shared his advice and made a suggestion that earned him no money. To me that is a mark of integrity and honesty.
