This law firm is fantastic. Without them I would have been lost. My father entered a nursing home and needed to sell his house. These people were excellent in communication and working with me to navigate issues. I highly recommend this firm to anyone seeking an attorney for elder law.

We contacted Elena Sallitto when my elderly mother came to live with us after her health started declining. There were special circumstances that we needed legal advice and guidance. Elena was very helpful and explained all of our options in terms we could understand. She made my mother and I totally comfortable explaining our options and working overtime to come up with a plan. It has been several years that we have been dealing with Elena and she has been there for us through it all. I highly recommend Elena and her firm for anyone seeking elder law advice and guidance.

I called Stavely & Sallito & discussed this matter; I was told Ms. Sallito would call me to talk about it further. I waited for 2 business days, & did not receive a call. My 95 year old father had a will in place for years. It was well thought out, & extremely thorough, down to the smallest detail. When the subject was brought up by his caretaker, witnesses overheard him say several times that he didn’t want or need a new will. Due to several debilitating medical conditions, my fathers physical health steadily declined over the past year. In the last 4 weeks of his life, he was drifting in & out of consciousness, & was under hospice care. 9 days prior to his death, the caregiver had this law firm of come to his home. These women went into my dying fathers bedroom with a new will for him to sign. It horrifies me to think that his oxygen & medications may have been denied him that morning so he could be deemed “competent” enough to “sign” legal documents; his live in help was also advised how to circumvent his original will & download a document from the internet, which he also signed. His signature & initials were unrecognizable to those of us who knew him; the check this law firm cashed was absolutely not written by him. I was told Ms. Sallito knew my father from church. If so, she would’ve realized he wasn’t in any condition to sign anything. This was NOT what my father wanted; signing a new will was something he very much tried to defend himself against. This law firm advertises themselves as “elder care”. Sadly, they did not protect a vulnerable adult from a caregivers undue influence. I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else’s parent. All of the above can be supported with documentation. Regarding the response to my review… This law firm dropped the ball; my father was unduly influenced, & exploited by his caregiver, which amounts to abuse. As a veteran, as one of the last of the Greatest Generation, he earned the right to protection, which he did not get. He tried to protect himself, to no avail. I have no doubt this law firm was manipulated by my Dads caregiver, as so many other people have been. As my siblings & I were navigating this fiasco & planning our Dads funeral, the caregiver furtively left in predawn hours, continuing to steal property up to the moment she left. (Documented). “Precautions” by Stavely & Sallitto were not enough. His rights were not protected. While Elena Sallittos accomplishments are laudable, the SAFE act ???? DID NOT ???? protect my father; & the caregiver certainly hasn’t faced “severe penalties” exploiting my father - * yet *. This law firm hasn’t offered to revisit or review this matter. That is very telling. As stated, I have documentation & witnesses to support everything I’ve said.
