Stegeman LAW

I have used Mr. Stegeman's legal expertise twice so far, for separate child custody issues. In both cases, I have been very satisfied in how he handled the situations... He is compassionate and understanding of his clients circumstances. I trust his legal advice and will return to Mr. Stegeman, if the need should arise in the future.

DO NOT DO IT! I hired Mr. Stegeman for a custody case. My case got a little confusing and things were happening quicker than I expected. I spoke with one of his assistants on a Tuesday and she scheduled me to discuss more with Stegeman the next Thursday - he never called, I had to call him. Then when I did call all I did was repeat the same information I told his assistant - he gave me 4 MINUTES of his time. I waited until the end of the day Friday for advice on how to proceed and still had no call back from his office. I needed someone who could help quick so I terminated Mr. Stegeman via email. I was informed by my new attorney that it normally takes about two weeks to get a refund on any unused retainer. I waited exactly two weeks to send a follow up email because I do understand things take time. It has been almost 30 days since I have terminated Mr. Stegeman and I still have not gotten at least a status of my refund and during this time they ''accidently'' drafted $500 from my account. Which when I called I was told to call my bank, but then miraculously after a few stern words they were able to void the charge. However, still no word on my retainer refund.

This law firm is courteous and professional as well as caring and strong they fought hard for us and were very flexible sensitive and understanding we appreciate how assertive they are and transparent we won our case and attorney Stegman was direct and on point his office staff is amazing and friendly especially Christina Rubio she is very patient and they get the job done

That is the great lawyer, since I talked to him few minutes, he already had good suggestions for me, and the case is done so fast, I am so appreciative that what he did everything for me. That is why I gave 5 stars, he owned it, great lawyer in my life, thank you again
