Hes only interested until he gets your money. Harassed me for it even. Then ignored all calls. Missed our first court date. Showed late to the rescheduled hearing STILL knowing nothing of my case. I lost custody of my then 1 year old in a situation I wouldn't believe had I not been there myself. I found out days after orders were sent....from her father. To this day, I haven't from him since that hearing. I got a new lawyer and now have her back but he made me miss out on 18 months with her I'll never get back. Youd be better off representing yourself.

I hired him in 2014 on a very serious criminal case that could have EASILY been beat and should have been dismissed. My father was also charged in the case and was found guilty and my father was never even there when the alleged crime happened. I had tons of witnesses and Mark Nichols did not submit them to the court on time so we could not use a single witness we had! He talked a ton about different things he was going to do to help us amd all these things he was going to file with the court and he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! we fought this case for a year and paid this man 10 grand to help us amd he did nothing at all! the day of trial he came in with a manilla envelope that had 2 pieces of paper in it I knew right then we were screwed. He got us sentenced to 10 and 12 years on a case that should have been dismissed right out of the gate! He had no respect in that xourtroom whatsoever. From the judge, the prosecution, nothing! DO NOT HIRE THIS LOSER OF AN ATTORNEY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY!! You would be better off representing yourself and that is the truth! Worst attorney I've ever seen in my life and I paid him 10 grand. He's an over priced crook!

Yes! Heed Tanya's review. Mark is a horrible lawyer. He talks a great game but after you pay him in full he will do nothing for your case. He missed several court dates with out warning. Not even a phone call to the Court or Me. He was incapable of pulling public records that all lawyers have access to. And he NEVER EVER answers his phone. I appeared in court 6-7 times and he kept continuing and prolonging the case because he could not get the plea agreement downloaded. And after all the prolonging when i finally get the plea agreement the judge pointed out so many errors from the prosecutors side. Things that my lawyer should have idnetified and fixed. I am certain that this man took my money and sat around doing nothing for 7-8 months. I could see in the judges eyes he felt sorry for me. This man is proof that some lawyers are ONLY in the business for the money. I had several red flags to just fire him and go with a public defender, but I let my heart lead me and not my head or gut. Needless to say I will be haunted by his lack of professionalism and neglegence for the rest of my life. Don't trust this man with something as precious as your life, time and freedom. You will be extremely disappointed.

A $200 consultation I would more describe as a $200 solicitation to hire. I left conversation with no more information than I entered with but less money. Mr Nichols was cordial and kind and I'm sure a firecracker if you hire him but I'm already $200 down with nothing to show. So I won't be doing that

this is THE WORST attorney ever. harassed me and called my phone 1000 times for money then did absolutely nothing-even missed a court date. never returns phone calls and is extremely lazy. will feed you a huge bullshit speech at first to reel you in-just run and run fast. you are better off with a public defender or my 4 year old grandson as representation.
