I had an falling injury from where my apartment complex never fixed my staircase. I heard great things about Chris Shelburn so thought I’d give him a try. I called and he was very polite and informed me that I definitely had a case and gave me simple directions to follow . I sent in ALL paperwork he had requested. I followed up with the city of Charlotte to have them come look at the home, and they determined it was unsafe . Submitted the form from the city to Mr. Shelburn. Here we are 1 year plus later and I haven’t heard anything else from him. Can’t even speak to the man. I call the office and the ladies that answer the phone tell me “he’s not available”, I simply ask if they could have him call me back and no call back. So what happened to everything I sent in? Is my scenario not as serious? Not too mention I had surgery on my knee prior to the falling accident. I submitted medical records and more, numerous of times. He had informed me he would be sending a letter to my apartment complex to get everything moving along, guess what??, They never received the letter. His attorney office sure did disappoint me . Needless to say, my case is just not happening now . From the headache and time that has passed and been wasted on this attorney, I don’t even have the energy to continue with another attorney. Think twice before going with Mr. Shelburn as your attorney .

Never again in a million years even if he was the last lawyer on earth. HE missed my court date which resulted a license suspension! Still got points on license due to lack of responsiveness and missed court date. Does not provide documentation. Does not respond to emails. Needs constant requests to please provide updates. Stay away!
